Tips On Planning A Great Dive Vacation
So you’ve got your certificate, PADI or NAUI, you’re officially a legal diver and you would love to make this vacation a great one to remember. Planning for a dive trip is fun, easy, might take a little details and some check list, but it’s all worth it in the end! Let’s look at some of the tips on planning a great dive vacation.
First of all, your dive trip should be a pleasure, nothing serious, so it’s better if you plan ahead so you won’t have to worry about the time, the booking, the dive master, the way, the hotel, and the list goes on. Timing is really essential when it comes to planning for a dive trip, true it would help you avoid the last minute deals but it would save you cash, lots of it! You should also know what the purpose of your dive trip is, what are you expecting to see from this dive trip, is the rare marine lives, the wrecked ship, or are you planning to see the reefs, or simply improve your dive skills, which ever it is, note it down, start listing
Once you know the purpose of your dive and what you want to see, it’s time for you to get out there and do a lot of research and by that we mean a lot! Okay, so may be you have been to the destination before but it doesn’t hurt for you to read about that particular location again just to be sure, things change over time. You should know what’s in the destination that you are planning to go to, does it fit your needs in this dive trip. Each location has different dive spots with different sights for you to see, so if you want to make this vacation the one to remember, it’s better if you know what you’re diving yourself into.
When the destination is picked, you should start picking the right dive instructors, or master to guide your way under water. Accommodations are also important for you, so make sure reservations are made before hand. If the destination that you are planning to go has extreme climate, it is really important that you know the climate under water and outside as well, you wouldn’t want to be diving in storms or better yet, not get to dive at all!
Making a check list is a wise thing to do when you’re planning for a dive trip, make sure you don’t leave any important equipment or even people behind. Now start diving away!
